My Story

I am a bilingual therapist fluent in Portuguese and English, originally from Brazil and residing in San Diego. I am deeply committed to providing compassionate care and non-judgmental therapy to individuals and families as they navigate the complex emotions triggered by the death of a loved one (including pets), the end of a relationship, the loss of a job, life changes such end of a relationship (including friendships), shifts in health (your own or a loved one's), and alterations in financial security. I understand that these moments can be incredibly challenging and elicit many emotions. In addition to grief and loss counseling, I am passionate about supporting multicultural relationships, addressing domestic violence issues, providing guidance on immigration matters, offering parent education, and assisting neurodivergent individuals and families dealing with ADHD and ODD. Furthermore, I am committed to supporting the LGBTQI+ community and strive to create an affirming space for all clients.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, creating a safe space to express your feelings and explore healthy coping strategies. I tailor the therapy to your needs, whether processing emotions or developing practical coping skills. We will embark on a healing journey to foster growth, resilience, and personal well-being.

I believe in ongoing education and staying up-to-date with the latest research and practices in the field. I strive to provide my clients with the highest care and support by continuously expanding my knowledge and skills.
